KEXP's new home is now open in Seattle Center…and it's pretty awesome! We recommend it as a great place to hang out and it's just across the street from The Century.
The 28,000-square-foot space features a high-tech DJ booth, a public stage for performances and an expansive lobby with the first public La Marzoco café and showroom. Let's just say it's hangout friendly!
This space is all about the experience! Kick back and listen to the broadcast while enjoying a craft cup of coffee. La Marzoco's "Roasters in Residence" program provides coffee companies from around the globe the opportunity to participate in a month long residency.
In-Studio performances are listed on the website and are continually updated. The ones that are open to the public say "Public Sign Up" after the artist name.
KEXP will give you the grand tour! Tours are offered at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm Monday - Friday. The tours last about 30 minutes and have a capacity of 10 people each. Reservations are encouraged. To reserve a spot, email tours@kexp.org or call 206-520-5892.
